Lu Weng Ancestral Hall

Lvweng Ancestral Hall is located 20 kilometers north of Handan City, Hebei Province, also known as “Huangliang Meng”, mainly dedicated to Lu Zu. According to the Pillow Records, Lu Sheng met Lu Zu Pure Yang in the inn in Handan, and sighed that he was trapped in a bad time and had no ambition. When the shopkeeper was cooking yellow beams, Lu Sheng leaned on the pillow and slept, Lu Zu then gave him a dream to wake up Lu Sheng, and went away with Lu Zu.

The descendants built the Lüweng Ancestral Hall accordingly on a grand scale. Covering an area of more than 13,000 square meters, the west is the Eight Immortals Pavilion, the south is the wall, embedded in the “Penglai Immortal Realm” four big words, the north is the Dan room, Lotus Pond, the pool in the bridge, the center of the octagonal pavilion. And then north for the three halls, before the bell from the hall, both sides of the bell and drum tower; in the temple for Luzu, with worship hall, platform, etc.; after the hall that is Lu Sheng Hall, within the bed of lapis lazuli stone carving of Lu Sheng’s reclining statue. Now it is a famous site for the whole country.
