Mengcheng City God Temple

Mengcheng City God Temple, a Taoist temple. Located east of the Confucian Temple in Mengcheng County, Anhui Province. Originally built during the Zhizheng period of the Yuan Dynasty (1341–1368), it underwent repeated repairs during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

From front to back, it features a mountain gate, a corridor, a main hall, and a pavilion; The mountain gate is three bays wide, with a central passageway, the eastern side housing the Land God Shrine, and the western side housing the Altar of Blessings Shrine. The main hall is three bays wide, housing a statue of the City God, which stands nearly a meter tall.
