Belief in the Tao requires a clear understanding of the body in order to realize its utility

The rationale of the Way of the Supreme Being is profound and comprehensive. However, its fundamental principle is to advocate the Way of Heaven to illustrate the Way of Man, that is, to clarify the structure of human civilization through the exploration of the true and natural way. This system of thought and culture is in fact the doctrine of heaven and man of traditional Chinese culture.

Here, the Way of the Supreme Being is the true and eternal Way of Heaven, i.e., the body of nature; human beings are human beings, and human beings must conform to the Way of Heaven, i.e., to the body of the Way of the Supreme Being.

It is from heaven to man, that is to say, to take the reason of nature as the foundation of the cultural system, so that the sutra teachings and humanistic construction do not violate the natural way of heaven. Thus, the philosophical conception of the unity of heaven and man is realized, and the purpose of clarifying the body to achieve the use is achieved.

The relationship between the body and its use, as described by Taishang, is the relationship between the “permanent way” and the “possible way”. The “Everlasting Way” is the way of nature, which is eternal and everlasting, and it is the highest faith of Taoism, and Taishang Taoist Ancestor is the image of the personality of the “Everlasting Way”.

The “Way” is the deeds taught by the masters through the ages, the precepts and rules, the scriptures and doctrines, but they are all not against the ‘Way’ or are interpreted by the “Way”. The doctrine of the “common way” is not contrary to the “common way” or is interpreted from the “common way.

Those who practice the Way and cultivate the truth must understand the true meaning of the Way through the realization of the “common way” and put it into practice in their own cultivation and practice. Or, by practicing relentlessly in accordance with the doctrine of the Way, they should accumulate true merit and return to the realm of the Way, so that they can attain the Way and become true.
