Huangshan Fairy Cave

Huangshan Fairy Cave, a famous Taoist site. Located between Xuan Yuan Peak and Huangshan Mountain in Huangshan City, Anhui Province. The cave is 17 meters deep, approximately 3 meters wide, 2 meters high at the front, and 7 meters high at the back.

The inscription “Jianmo Dongtian” (Simplicity and Silence Cave Heaven) is carved above the entrance, said to have been written by the immortal Guangchengzi. Inside the cave is a small pool that never dries up, known as the “Flowing Cup Spring.”

Behind the cave wall is a small opening too narrow for humans to enter, from which a gentle breeze blows. There is also a small opening at the front of the cave, called the “Heavenly Eye.” The cave is surrounded by sheer cliffs, and access requires climbing stone steps.
