Qinghua Temple on Phoenix Mountain

Fenghuang Mountain Qinghua Temple, a Taoist temple. Located on Fenghuang Mountain in Wuhu City, Anhui Province.

The exact date of its establishment is unknown, but it was known as Yanxi Temple during the Song Dynasty. According to legend, there was a young child in Huo Gang Town, Wuhu, who, while critically ill, dreamed that the deity of this temple cured his illness and bestowed him with a heavenly text. After growing up, he entered the temple to study Daoism, became the abbot of the temple, and after his ascension to immortality, was buried in the mountains.

Several years later, someone opened his coffin to inspect it and found no remains, only his sword and shoes.
