Wuwei Leitai Temple

Wuwei Leitaiguan Daoist Temple. Located two kilometers north of Wuwei City, Gansu Province. Built in the Qing Dynasty, the temple’s main buildings include the Wind God Hall, the Thunder Ancestor Hall, and the Three Sovereigns Hall.

The entire temple complex is built on top of the Leitaiguan platform constructed during the Jin Dynasty, which stands 8.5 meters high, 106 meters long from north to south, and over 60 meters wide from east to west. Beneath the platform lies a massive Eastern Han Dynasty tomb. It is one of the most famous Daoist temples in Wuwei.
